Laneway Suites by R-Hauz
Waverley has been working with R-Hauz and Elevation Architects to design a laneway suites program to be as of right under the Toronto Laneway By-Law. Elevation is the first of several selected design firms to create our curated portfolio of owner choices. We were drawn to Elevation by the deep experience of partners Julia Bourque and Maxine Shabsove in creating hundreds of custom home solutions. We are very proud to bring the results of their interpretation of a laneway home to the Toronto market.
Their first model - a 20 foot lot compatible suite - offers one car parking plus 500 square feet of living space in a one bedroom configuration. A 15 foot and 25 foot model will follow during the month of September.

R-Hauz is marrying excellence in design with factory built panelized assemblies. We are levering the productivity and quality improvements that are available from new building technologies. R-Hauz fabricates the panelized laneway suites in a factory setting and then assembles the home on site in a less than 4 week period. Details on finishing specifications, timelines and costing for our laneway suites program to come with the launch of our pilot build in October 2019. Our process brings the benefits of faster and cheaper builds direct to the property owner with laneway homes that are smarter and healthier.
